Say what you will but if Bama had the stability Clemson had the last 4 years, then I say they win 3 if not all 4 NC titles.

What’s more impressive to you, Dabo keeping his staff mostly in tact or Saban winning with constant turnover of coaches and players.

Say what you will but that is likely due to Saban's personality vs Dabos.....

4 NC titles.

Four national championship titles?

Is that like when someone says "the SEC Conference"....The Southeastern Conference Conference?

Saban picks the biggest, fastest kids on the playground and that is all he does.

Saban is a dominating prick, and working for him is a special hell.

But his prospective assistants know that the Saban-Bama talent recruitment conveyor belt will give them an almost certainty of shining and getting a better job in a year or two.

Then it’s bye bye Prick.

That's called "building a program". Winning championships are the fruits of that. The ultimate goal is to win the national championship, so Dabo doesn't give a rat's arse who is more impressive.

Dabo won 44-16. It's working for him

I get all the Clemson dr'n winning 2 Championships in 3 years. But as good as Trevor Lawrence is and will be do you actually think Clemson will win another Championship soon with all that Defensive talent gone?

Most difficult coaches don't last. There is only one Nick Saban. People that take jobs with him know he will work the like a Hebrew Slave. But they also know that whatever difficulties they endure, they will get a chance to move on.

With that said I do have to wonder if the revolving door of coaches will ever catch up at Bama. Don't get me wrong, Bama is a force, but at some point will it cost the Tide a key game or two? Bama's scheme won't change much, but the players constantly haven't to adapt to a new coach and style is a challenge.

Right now, Saban doesn't have 5 guys pounding the recruiting lanes and the 5 guys that he will hire to fill those shoes will ave to re-recruit many of these kids. Now half of them if not more want to play for Bama and those are a lock. It's the others that might look around for a more stable environment that has to be nurtured.

Dexter Lawrence Missed the Playoffs and the next guy up did okay...Clemson plays a lot of young players in meaningful downs to get experience. That's why our early games are not always blowout. Dabo believes. on getting as many players in a game when it counts rather than mop-up duty. It's worked so far. It also helps in recruiting when a kid knows he won't ride the bench and will get meaningful snaps. That's how a walk on like Hunter Renfrew was discovered.

uhh, no other coach has ever won 5 national titles in 9 years, so I'm pretty sure that Saban knows how to build a program. It's working for him.

I don't know if they'll win it all again in the next year or two, but with that ACC schedule, it's a pretty good bet they'll be in the playoffs.

This guy is correct. Not everyone can work in that atmosphere and that’s ok. Just like you recruit players with the mind set that fit your culture you have to find coaches like that as well. LSU and Clemson going lightness my in a bottle with Aranda and Venables that aren’t necessarily looking to be HC and can be happy just being a coordinator. It’s a rare find but extremely valuable in any profession. I used to think I had to run my own unit at the hospital and kept taking jobs that would lead me in that direction. As I’ve gotten older I found I like being a soldier. Just point me in the direction and get out of my way.

Dabo winning national titles without the need for a single Top-5 recruiting class.
