I think most coaches knew not to hitch their careers to Orgeron.

Because spending more money has lead to so many national titles at Texas A&M.

Maybe good coordinators didn’t want to coach with him. Language barrier and all.

Probably because nobody worth a shite wants to work with him.

ANOTHER reason why he’s got to go.

They hired a position coach to be the head coach so I guess they figured they would continue the trend.

It is more than that. A coach that thinks football is won by being macho, thumping chest, tearing shirt off, but not by organized simultaneous activity is a liability today.

Miles once (only time?) spoke the truth once when he was asked what the team could do differently after being shut out by Alabama. He answered, "I don't know." and he truly didn't know because he only knew one kind of football.

All the coordinators in the world won't compensate for a head coach who honestly doesn't understand the game, can't learn. One who bumbles around, grabs onto any fancible scheme (NFL off season workouts and practices because of injuries), and just allows the team discipline to devolve into disconnected pods.

Today old line player's coaches from the 1950d are dinosaurs. The team organization from recruiting to off season to SC, etc., demands an organizational intellect FIRST... O ain't it.

Well he won the natty partly bc of the coordinators along with the lighting in a bottle QB also. A natty is “worth it” no matter what. Can’t ever take that away.

Well, damn. That’s a riveting theory literally no one has brought up before now. You should alert the media because I think you just might be on to something.

Hiring unproven people is rolling the dice. Joe Brady was unproven, and he got us 2019. Peetz and Jones aren't proven. Jones has shown improvement every week, and I think he is an asset. Peetz, I am not terribly happy about. Part of his problem is the Oline is bad, but he takes too long getting plays in, and it has bitten us multiple times.

Anyways, Aggie shouldn't be posting about our staff all things considered...
