He went 10 and 3 last year (which should have been 11 and 2), won a New Years six bowl, and is out recruiting all of the SEC this year. I just find it funny now after reading all the negative posts when he got hired then. He has beat every SEC team (Georgia by 20) on our schedule since being the head coach at LSU except for the GUMPS (the best team money can buy). Where are the haters now?

He's a good recruiter, yes.

Agreed. LSU should extend him.

I know. I keep hearing he isn’t a great X’s and O’s guy. In my opinion people that are great leaders surround themselves with great assistants, coordinators, consultants, etc. If you have a great supporting staff you will be great too. That’s exactly what he has done and is doing. Say what you want but the proof came last year when he was projected to go 6 - 6 and went 10 - 3. This year he will be even better.

Most people feel the coaching at the Big 6 Schools had been down the last few years. Most of those schools have made upgrades, as have some of the other schools. Most feel Coach O will not be able to keep up after the upgrades. We shall see, I always liked him.

He's done better than I ever thought he would. He needs to get over that Alabama hump though.

I think you’re right on the upgrades. I feel like aTm is on an upward trajectory as Texas is also. If Coach O can keep a great staff together he will be fine.

FIFY. Not trying to take a page out of the LSU fan playbook, but the refs screwed Auburn bigtime.

Yes he must beat Bama or at least put a scheme together to score on them.

Eh, sounds like a desperate bad troll attempt but I can get on board with the message since it's true.

Refresh my memory on the Auburn game play that the refs screwed up?

I like what O is doing, but Ensminger is not a great coordinator. He doesn't get credit for Aranda, but I'm glad they work together. No doubt O is all for LSU. He wants to win, I'll say that, too.

Not a troll. I’m from Baton Rouge and bleed purple and gold. We are so used to hearing people troll Oregeron that we can’t tell the difference now when someone is actually giving him credit. And we should be giving him credit for what he is accomplishing IMO.

This is true. LSU has traditionally had trouble finding offense. In fact, no coach in the school's history had managed to score 72 points and still lose before Coach O.
