Yep. One is getting paid millions of dollars for a 30-second, nationally syndicated TV spot while the other is blabbing in a different language on a show that lost its ratings and journalistic integrity years ago.

ETA: Also...do you think recruits are more likely to watch 60 Minutes or see the hip coach from Alabama in an Aflac commercial during Monday Night Football?

Yup. There is always large amounts of integrity with talking to a cartoon character on a commercial

There's also a large amount of exposure to recruits. You don't get that same exposure appearing on 60 Minutes.

36% fewer viewers than last year.

When you don't have the facts to sustain an argument, hit them with insults. You lost and you don't even realize it.

No one watches 60 Minutes anymore and the few "intellectuals" who do probably changed the channel as soon as Orgeron opened his mouth. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard. If not for football, Orgeron would probably be a plumber or auto mechanic.

We can understand what Saban is saying though.

don't know what's the saddest...your aggie-esque meme or the inbred upvotes it garners.

Yes because Nick Saban hasn’t been a headliner on 60 minutes in like six months

Might want to take a closer look at those numbers, homey-g. The vast majority of 60 Minutes viewers are over the age of 50. That's great that Ed Orgeron was on such a prestigious news program but no one under the age of 34 was watching. 60 Minutes averages a 1.2 share in the coveted 18-34 demographic.

I think those Aflac commercials are funny as hell, even the ones before Saban. I like coach O but he’s no Saban. He could prove me wrong, but the man has a very long way to go. Come back in ten years and if O has a better record and more NC then will talk. Saban is still the face of the SEC, that’s easy to figure out by the way some of the LSU fans post about him and compare the two.

So parents of the recruits were all watching? It was great insight on a coach that people who live in other parts of the country probably knew nothing about. Just another edge in recruiting where it starts, with family. Just like when O went to the nursing home to visit granny and lil Nicky had to follow him the next day. You see the trend setter now?

O playing 4d chess while Nicky playing checkers with an imaginary duck....

Don’t even start with this charity stuff. I think the Saban’s have proven to be good people when it comes to that.

Or Saban has already been there and done that. 7 years ago. When 60 Minutes was somewhat still relevant.

Well homy-g 18 year old's aren't watching what 34 year old's are watching. Even bad pub is good pub and being on 60 minutes is good pub.
