My Facebook feed full of folks from the Baton Rouge metro told a very different tale.
Certainly, Baton Rouge was much better off than La Place and other places near the center of Ida's track. And those are the folks who probably are using up many of those hotel rooms in Baton Rouge.

LSU did this vs. Tennessee in 2005 and then proceeded to blow a 21-0 lead. They were hellbent on playing the game even though it should have been postponed at the time.
