This board is NOT obsessed with Clemson!

It’s not obsessed!

Definitely, wouldn't you given the same circumstances?

If LSU wasn't playing a team that demands your respect I would hope they would prep for the playoffs. As it is we have to play a team with a pulse, so shadow staff prepping for Clemson will have to do.

Watching them the last few weeks I am not as concerned as I had been. LSU can stop them enough to allow Joe to win it. Their running game while good is not the style that gives this defense trouble and Aranda has found something the last couple weeks to establish a pass rush.

Yes it was vs Arkansas and A&M, but those teams are comparable to what Clemson plays. It will be a shootout no doubt.

Ahh yes... the same made up excuse as to why Bama lost last year is already preemptively being thrown around.

Clemson preps for the next team on their schedule. If you spent any time watching Venables you would understand that the dude is religious about focusing on the next opponent.

I am sure a couple of Clemson GA's are starting to put together film and tendencies on Ohio State, LSU, UGA, Utah and Oklahoma... which is exactly what LSU and UGA GA staff are likely doing as well.

you've dutifully memorized and recited Finebaum's talking point

given it appears most people think LSU gets into the playoffs even if they lose, it seems more likely LSU would be preparing for another opponent than Clemson.

No, it just shows the issue with having the Committee jockeying for seeding already. That is why there shouldn't be any CFP Rankings until the Championship Weekend is over.
