Where are some good tailgating areas of campus for us to stroll through with our own booze and mingle with the good people of the Clemson fanbase? I know where the official Aggie tailgate is going to be, but we always prefer to enjoy libations with host fanbases tailgating.

TIA

Just follow the banjo pickin' and find this guy over at the Esso Club. He'll show you where to go from there.

There’s literally one road out so...

Just be mindful of that. Bring board games.

Good luck getting past all of the corny arse Scar posts on something like this. They have to pop in to threads like this and try to remind everyone that we are supposed to be their rival.

Check out the downtown Clemson area the night before the game. It will be packed but it's always a good time. On game day, just walk from lot to lot and you will see nice set ups everywhere. Just about everyone you meet will invite you over for food. The lot behind the baseball field is a fun place to be. It's right beside the RV lot. Drinking games, corn hole, just a big party. And the Esso Club is always a good place to go after the game.

Thanks. Our group is all in our early to late 30's, if that makes a difference. Looking forward to a good time and great weather all weekend.

Thanks. Just across the lake from campus, about a mile north of Keowee. Short Uber distance to/from town across the lake.

ETA: I read staying instead of sitting ha. Haven't bought tickets yet but we know we'll likely have to split up in pairs. The lady and I will be sitting lower bowl, probably somewhere in the T corner, give or take a couple of sections.

I've been to Clemson many, many times as an opposing fan. It's a great place to visit and everyone will treat you well.

Having said that, finding parking in a lot near the stadium is impossible. All the lots are permit only parking for IPTA members, etc. You'll likely need to park on the golf course a mile or so from the stadium and make the hike.

Getting in and out is rough as well.

Do people still park their RV’s over near the Y Beach? That’s where I parked last time I was up there. Would be good for you since you’re staying north of campus.

I think we are just planning to Uber/walk instead of driving in and parking.
