100 SECRant posters are currently trashing their Pod schemes they've been working on the last 2 days and going back to the drawing board.

What does FSU bring to the table?
Oh that's right, we let Texas in so we have to let every other loser in too

Not only that, but you split the Alabama teams up most likely.

Would enjoy the SEC wave at them as they drive away slowly...

Much better choices than OU/UT...

You're kidding, right?
ETA: FSU won a national title in football 8 years ago, has a fantastic baseball program and their basketball team is ranked on an annual basis.
Their softball team has a national title and we're runners up this year.

Can't see Fla. State wanting in, as they would all but have 5-6 losses each season & would never make the playoffs. Automatic losses to the Gators, the Dawgs, bama, AU, & UK, plus 2 cross divisional losses. Clemson has zilch to gain, lots to lose. Right now, they are all but guaranteed a place in the playoffs every yr.

Isn't there a humongus buyout they would have to pay the ACC?

Probably, but they would make that back in less than 2 years.

For a team that was a mediocre conference also ran before Nick Saban arrived 20 years ago you LSU fans sure do trash a lot of teams that have been better than LSU most of my life

So let me get this straight, you think Texas & OU woke up and said to themselves; “you know what, it will be easier to win a NC if we are in the SEC let’s move?”
Texas and OU’s payouts from the Big12 went down the past two years, and the SEC’s went up. Not too hard to figure out the main drivers of this decision.

I only want them if Vandy & UK leave which isn’t happening. We’re good where we are at.

With the shite show big ten pulled last year I wouldn't be surprised those teams would want in too.

You don’t get to be a top ten all time CFB program by being an “also ran”. Just because you don’t have a sense or a remembrance actual SEC history doesn’t mean that what you do remember means a fricking thing.
Since apparently your whole life is 1979 to 2004, I can only suggest that you look into the subject

Make it 20.
Add Kansas, Okie, or Nebraska.

I bet they do but I think they're GOR isn't up until 2036 so that buyout would be huge.

If they were to join the SEC, that would mean the only non-SEC national champion programs this century are Miami, USC* and Ohio State.
