If you're in a Church that is using a video screen during the service then you're not really at Church

What about projectors? Are those ok? I mean, we used them before Covid for certain songs, scripture readings, and the pastor's outline of the sermon, but part of what we're doing now is all the Hymns are on the projector as well, and all Hymnals have been removed so you don't end up with multiple people touching them throughout the services.

I’d like to make fun of this, but I just know a church in Cullman County, Alabama has probably done the same.

Cullman is more of a burning crosses kind of place.

If you are at a church that isn't doing everything it can to reach people including using audio/video, then you are at a church that won't be here in 25 years.

They got electricity down there already?

That TVA thing is going to bring us into the 20th century. Thank you FDR!

New wineskins are fine as long as the wine stays the same.

I hate to even think of what they did with the farm animals after that service

Grew up there a bit. It's crazy because basically none of the people in that area owned slaves and they were kind of proud of that. As a result, it's an extremely white area, outside Vinemont.

A true sunset town back in the day. But it's not just black people that they were like that towards. You had to dress and look a certain way as well. I once got suspended from school in the 2nd grade...because I needed a haircut and my hair touched my collar. I got suspended another time because I had worn holes in my jeans. They made me wear patches...on the outside of the jeans over the holes. Shorts? Not a chance in hell.

fricking hated it.

Dabo is literally the middle man between
God and a rock.

Dabo's succes is undeniable. Has Dabo had any job offers like from Texas or a bigger school or maybe even a desperate NFL team? Why is he still at Clemson?

iChurches are the new thing. Have a rock band, screens all over, light shows. More of a concert than a church. Disgusting places.

Seems to be a recurring theme with schools that have tiger mascots.

Data doesn't bear this out. It's actually the "seeker sensitive" nonsense that's bleeding. Fastest growing type of service in America is traditional Latin mass. Highest retentitive forms of evangelicalism are the most conservative

Easiest path to the playoff
Lots of money
Can now recruit top 5 at Clemson every year

Why would he want to go anywhere else when he has that?? That includes Alabama.

How can someone "go to church" when they ARE the church?
