He was just saying that he was more disappointed about UT's loss in basketball in the NCAA tournament than the loss to Georgia State. He is trying to downplay it hard.

He's the one that led the protests of Schiano getting hired. He literally ruined Tennessee's football for years to come.

I think it's more apathy than anything.
I watched the game with no emotion. Had no reaction to the loss. And wasn't surprised by the outcome.
It's simply not worth getting worked up over anymore.

Why would he care? When Tennessee was ending their football program he was getting drunk tailgating the Vandy game.

He’s just deflecting since he’s a huge part of why Tennessee’s coaching search was botched to hell to begin with.

The funny thing is that a guy like Schiano is probably exactly what the Vols needed. He'd never win the SEC and likely not the East but he'd have had them playing competitive football and at 8-9 wins. He'd have been a great intermediate coach to get their program back on the right track for better long term trajectory. Instead they hired a lifetime defensive coordinator who doesn't know what asparagus is and has had the benefit of playing defense with the best athletes in CFB for the past decade. Add to that a delusional fanbase that wants results immediately? Pruitt is screwed and so is whoever comes in after him unless the Vols are willing to be patient for 3 or 4 years.

no. It's more Clay Travis trying to spin it away from his own complicity than anything. Admittedly, he's just a loudmouth fool who thinks he's more important than he really is, but he was a mouth piece for so many other fools, he's not getting off that easy.

Do you honestly think a Sweet 16 loss in overtime with a 31-5 team is not more disappointing than when a perennial 5 win program loses a meaningless game in a meaningless season?
