Am I the only one who is excited to watch LSU play this schedule?

I'm with ya. Coach Miles said to Fowler "We like to think we are the only team to go through this schedule." or something like that. Kind of rah-rah but it's the right attitude. Looking forward to a lot of big games next season.

Because that was the easiest schedule we've ever had in LSU football history.

you probably shouldn't shite on the accomplishments of the greatest team in LSU history. They got humiliated in the BCSCG but their SEC work was a fine season imho

UGA, UF and ATM at TS... oh the pussy that will be on campus instead of watching from home...

If you're going to have a 2 year bridge scheduling plan, that should be able to allow for return trips from the previous year, and the new rotation should begin under the new schedule format.

But using that method, the '12 and '13 conference opponents for every team would've been exactly the same; the home teams would have changed but the actual opponents would be the same for 2 years in a row. I can see why the SEC office would not want that.

I'm not at all. It was a fantastic season. We dominated.

But I can also look at the schedule objectively and know that all things fell in to place that one year.

They are a lot of fun if you win. Behind the coachspeak though, the coaches would rather the path to the SEC Championship be as easy as possible. Somebody stupid will come on here and say "we want to take on all comers." But if you gave every SEC coach a choice between the easiest SEC schedule or hardest, they would all pick the easiest.

Why?

You don't think Missouri owes you guys a return trip?

I mean I get that they didn't want to lock in to return games during the bridge format, but it just seems like that would be the natural way to do it.

Because having the exact same SEC match-ups as the previous year isn't as exciting or interesting as having new SEC match-ups

Of course they would, two 4 loss seasons in a row can get you fired. I'm just saying that as a fan, it does no good to bitch about it, especially when there's the opportunity to run the table and go down as NC with the highest SOS in recent years. There's no party like Baton Rouge at night when the tigers are undefeated.

Will Duke become a rival of Alabama if they would somehow magically join the SEC with UNC?

Why would they? We've played fewer than 5 times.

Why didn't Alabama just beat Texas A&M at home?

2 years in a row Bama was dealt the easier schedule by the SEC. Ridiculous we play @ uga this year
