People seem to be under the impression that the bridge schedules were supposed to be totally random yet LSU got 2 very difficult cross-division games whereas Bama got 2 weak cross-division games by way of collusion. That's not the case.

I'm not arguing with your point. But my whole point is...what is the logic behind it???

I mean, is there any kind of thought pattern that you can identify with this?

For instance.

Bama played At Mizzou and had Tennessee at home
LSU played at Florida and had South Carolina at home.

The schedule was originally supposed to be:

Georgia @ Bama
Bama @ Tenn

LSU @ Florida
South Carolina @ LSU

But it got changed to this:

Mizzou @ Bama
Bama @ Tenn

Florida @ LSU
LSU @ South Carolina.

But instead of honoring return trips this year, its:

Bama @ Kentucky
Tenn @ Bama

LSU @ Georgia
Florida @ LSU

Like most every other team for the bridge, they were not honoring the return trips. This was not just selective to Bama

I've never said it was selective to Bama. I've consistently mentioned all the teams that were affected by just one change.

Now, don't misunderstand I am not implying the league office will immediately cave, but I can assure you that King Nick will HAMMER who ever the new AD will be about eliminating that game if BJ turns it around.

Are you asking why they went to 1 game cross-division series instead of maintaining 2 game series?

It was the only way to get any kind of rotation in the schedule with a 6-1-1 format.

And the new AD will kindly tell Saban to STFU. The next AD will most likely be another somewhat old guy that either played for us or has had ties with us for a long time. They will know what the game means and Saban won't make him get rid of it.

Us LSU fans are at the cutting edge when figuring out the new ways that Bama rigs this stuff.

And don't give me the TM7 stuff. We already knew Saban swept that stuff under the rug so just trying to keep the field as level as possible.

I disagree.

If you're going to have a 2 year bridge scheduling plan, that should be able to allow for return trips from the previous year, and the new rotation should begin under the new schedule format.

What about it? The win got you the West and a place in the SECCG. What SEC scheduling conspiracy was involved with those results?

Am I the only one who is excited to watch LSU play this schedule? Obviously we could drop a game any week, but if we don't the atmosphere around LSU will be electric, leading into what could be the best recruiting class we've ever had. Who here was in TS for Towson?

Because that was the easiest schedule we've ever had in LSU football history.

Down Florida
Down Auburn
Tennessee & Kentucky

So that's one break we've gotten in the last 30 years. You most definitely cannot say the same thing.

I'm thrilled. What's better than trips to Dallas, Oxford, Athens, and Ole Miss? I'm making all three priorities.

The schedule isn't equal. That's just the reality of it.

If you want to say Alabama had an advantage last year over LSU and has an advantage again this year, I'm right there with you. It isn't fair.

If you want to say Alabama wasn't the best team last year, go frick yourself. Respectfully.

I like this post a lot actually. I'm not going to whine until the sun comes down, but I do think the scheduling is pretty unbalanced.

And damn, I really hoped we finished games last year when we needed them. All three of our loses came in the 4th quarter when we were leading.
