It's just fun to watch those in Bammerland get just as annoyed at said "whining" knowing they only have one explanation for it, like we do.

The point is LSU could lose to Georgia and Florida, but beat A&M and Bama and still not go to the SECCG. I don't think this scenario should be possible. The schedule isn't balanced. If the schedules are going to be unbalanced, division winners should be decided by division games only.

Why didn't LSU just beat Alabama last year at home?
If they simply do that, they would have been in the SECCG and probably would have won the BCSNC.

If we had played Tennessee and you had played Florida then we would have been in the SECCG and probably would have won the BCSNC as well.

I didn't want this point to get buried at the bottom of the last page, so I'll repost it. If anybody should be upset it should be South Carolina.

I don't give a damn one way or the other...
but one scheduling rearrangement affected multiple teams.
Georgia was supposed to rotate on to Bama's schedule.
LSU was supposed to make a return trip to South Carolina.
If they wanted to flip flop these games that would have been fine. LSU/Georgia, Alabama/South Carolina is a fair trade IMO.
But they didn't do that. They yanked Kentucky out of a game with somebody (Arkansas maybe?), gave them to Alabama, and now South Carolina gets neither LSU or Alabama at home, and LSU gets Georgia.

The funniest thing about this is they whined louder and longer than anyone on here a few years ago over the bye week thing

Maybe. Maybe not. You did however uncover the real culprit.
If UT had not been a flaming hobo orgy dumpster fire frickfest for the past five years, we might not be having this discussion. I blame them.

While you raise a good point, your administration has been the one raising nine kinds of hell to keep that game on the schedule. Not because of a rivalry, but because they know for the foreseeable future its a W in conference play. I can assure you, if Butch Jones turns that program around, in two years Bama-UT wont be an annual game.

No they didnt. KY was set to rotate back on Bama's schedule in 2013

Well they just played bama in 2010 in columbia
All they did was take UGA and Vandy off the 2012 schedule and UGA off 13

And LSU off of South Carolina's Schedule

So they took one of the harder teams off LSU orginal schedule?
Whats the problem

Your hypocrisy is delicious. Remember what happened that last time Gump U felt slighted at the schedule? They bitched until the SEC MADE A RULE regarding bye weeks. But when LSU takes issues the Gumps are the first to call em out on it.
And more to the point: exactly what sort of dolts do we have in the SEC Office that they need 2 years of bridge scheduling? Shouldn't this have been resolved after year 1?

Did you chastise bama fans for bitching about the bye weeks?

Most of the SEC scheduling revolves around 2 years scenarios

Your hypocrisy
Said about EVERY Bama fan.
When they pissed and moaned about the date of the Iron Bowl, SEC changed it.
When they pissed and moaned about multiple bye weeks before the Bama game, SEC office made a rule.
When LSU fans bitch about playing UF vs UT, Bama fans deflect and tell us about their 34 National Championships.
