Almost beat Auburn in the first round. He loves to play a deep bench like Bruce. They played 10 man rotation in the 1st round. I think he would be a good coach.

I’d probably prefer Sampson if I were y’all, but I think Jans is a pretty good choice if he doesn’t work out.

Certainly not a Beard or Sampson like you guys have been preaching about, but not a bad choice if you can't get one of your top targets.

Sampson already turned Arkansas down? Jan's is solid, worked with Marshall and Steve Forbes. Forbes is another one to look for.

I read last night that the dude got himself in hot water for being drunk and disoderly with some females at a bar or something? It was bad enough that one of his bosses was there and pulled out his phone to record the entire altercation.
Weird story. He is a good coach, but I'm not sure I'll be on board with this dude.

Agreed -- Forbes is going to get snatched up at some point. It's just a matter of time. That's the type of coaching pool I'd have Jans in. One of the more appealing options if you have to go the mid major route, but definitely below all of the names that have been mentioned up to this point. Similar hire to Oats @ Alabama.

We have Dickson street close to campus. Jans could get hammered and then go down to Bottom's Up to be a creep. The dancers there probably wouldn't mind.
He gets to lech on women, they get his money, we get a good basketball coach... its a win/win/win!
