South Carolina in the Revolution
Edward Rutledge, Thomas Heyward Jr., Thomas Lynch Jr., and Arthur Middleton signed the Declaration of Independence on behalf of South Carolina.
Thomas Sumter led patriot irregulars in a guerilla campaign so fierce he earned the nickname "the Carolina Gamecock" from British Soldiers. He would provide inspiration for USC's eventual athletic nickname and Mel Gibson's character in the Patriot.
South Carolina Patriots fought back a force almost five times their size at the Battle of Sullivan's Island behind fortifications constructed out of Palmetto logs.
The Patriots BTFO'd the Brits at Cowpens and Kings Mountain in two brilliantly engineered battles:
Georgia in the Revolution
Lyman Hall, Button Gwinnett, and George Walton signed the Declaration of Independence on behalf of Georgia
Casmir Pulaski, father of American Cavalry, fought and died defending Savannah
Georgian Patriots beat back the Brits in the Siege of Augusta
Alabama in the Revolution

Guerrilla leader Francis Marion, aka The Swamp Fox. He harassed British regiments and patrols from Florence to the coast and south to Georgetown.

Although a very interesting thread (kudos) the last part I suppose is the troll part of it. If your state wasn't one of the original colonies, kinda hard to contribute to the war.

If not for us and the other 12....
There’s no such thing as an SEC.
Well there probably still would be an SEC but not this one.
And we’d all be celebrating yesterday’s win

Perhaps you should think a little harder about Louisiana at this time and how those that ruled it contributed to the American Revolution.
