Long Snapper U. 3 now in the league. I’m not sure how many other teams have ever been able to say that.

This is such a bizarre and hilarious stat. Now I'm really curious whether it's a record.

I don’t see how y’all had enough punts for any meaningful evaluation

Not a ton of punts, but plenty of extra points. Fletcher did both.

I dont even know who our long snapper is off the top of my head so I’ll just say yes.

Hasn't snapped a ball since the 2018 season, unfortunately.

Nice.
One of my all-time favorite Ags was a deep snapper, Kyle Lednicky. He played four seasons (deep snapped 500+ balls) and never committed an error. Pitched a perfect game that lasted for four years.
From TexAgs:
Best of luck to your player! I would assume that since there aren’t many of those guys out there, a good one could notch a pretty decent NFL career.

A deep snapper doesn't seek the bright lights of recognition, for should that light swing his way, it seldom carries with it the roar of applause or the warmth of adulation. Instead, should a deep snapper's name appear in the newspaper or gain mention on the airwaves, it means one thing: he made a mistake ... a costly mistake. He launched the ball over the punters head. He missed the open hands of the spotter waiting to tee up the ball for the game winning field goal.
No one knows the name of a wildly successful deep snapper. That honor is typically reserved for the galloping hoofer or the rifle armed count caller.

Only time I’ve ever known the name of an OM long snapper are ones who consistently sucked, so I could ridicule them

He’ll be with the Giants in 2021.

How long did that take? Missouri usually has a guy go 3 or 4 years, I assume that's an easier route for lesser programs who can't put so much talent in the freezer.

Good friend was the long snapper at Duke and played in the NFL for a while.
I was asking him about Duke athletes and of they are held to a higher standard and he told me half his teammates couldn't even tie their own shoes.
Not at all related to this post, but when Vandy says they can't compete because of academics, they are lying just like every other school.

All 3 of LSU's last three long snappers have come from one high school (Buford,GA)
