Your squad deserves it, but the important thing is Auburn will be a 1 seed in the tournament. AP poll doesn’t mean anything.

We are not basketball rivals. Auburn is a new blood who has finished dead last in the SEC as many times as they’ve made the NCAA tournament in my lifetime.

and Auburn has gone farther in the Tourney than bama in every persons lifetime.......but congrats on being good in olden times.

I have no dog in this fight, but offer my perception of the two programs from the outside. Auburn has had some great players (Barkley) and some really good teams. More ups and downs than Bama but higher highs. To me, Bama seemed to go around 19-11 every year, be on the bubble, and not do anything memorable in the tournament. Just a casual view of the two.

They’ve had one “higher high” and have made the NCAA tournament 10 times in their entire program’s history. They’ve won the conference 4 times in 100 years, and somehow Charles Barkley wasn’t a part of any of those 4 teams.

The Supreme Court destroyed any chance at significant penalties for paying players. That’s a thing of the past.
