Arkansas had five commitments and was ranked close to last in the nation. Sam pittman has done a fine job in only less than two months. They have 16 and with nine left to go, they have a chance to finish in the lower 30s. Not bad for someone with very little head coaching experience.

Alright. It's just too bad for Arkansas that their potential 25th ranked class is only good enough to be 5th place in the sec west at best. Good luck with all that.

Pretty fricking good considering we were #118 when Pittman got hired.

When Eli interviewed, he asked for a larger buyout. Yuracheck refused and then pittman was hired.
I understand he is looking out for his financial well being but if you have to ask for a buyout such as that then you have already failed. He has confidence issues and you can't have that in SEC.
All schools have rebuilding years and someone has to turn them around. Pittman had no confidence issues and didn't ask for a large buyout. I guess being almost 60 years he didn't have fear of failure.
