Can't wait to see the math clubs of Vandy, TAMU, Mizzou, and Floriduh square off.

Might get as many viewers as last night's 3am replay on Longhorn Network of Texas's transsexual fencing team facing off against Cal-Berkeley back in 2009.

AAU memberships don't mean a thing.
You can get a degree from anywhere and have a very successful career.
AAU means your student loans will be higher and you have to navigate the liberal professors who take up residence on that campus. Good luck with that.

I mean, there really isn’t any great distinction between most major universities and their resources. The experiences for an overwhelming majority of students wouldn’t really be that different from school to school.

Don’t get me wrong, if there’s a specific field or discipline that one school just excels at I understand wanting to make an extra effort to get into that school. But in the general sense getting a degree isn’t too different at these major schools and it’s up to the individual graduate to do with that degree what he will.

As annoying as they are and as bad as their football program is, Tech is a very difficult school. All jokes aside, the school itself is no joke while the rest is still the joke by coke.

Only a Non-AAU member would quote US News University Rankings, which are a known pay-to-play scheme.

CWUR (worldwide)
Mizzou - 182
Kentucky - 288

ARWU US (worldwide)
Mizzou - 59-66 (151-200)
Kentucky - 95-116 (301-400)

As I'm sure as everyone is dying to know:

Vandy 32-33
UF 41-43

Texas A&M 59-66
Mizzou 59-66

Georgia 67-94
Tennessee 67-94

Kentucky 95-116
SC 95-116
LSU 95-116

Auburn 138-155
Alabama 138-155
Miss State 138-155
Arkansas 138-155

Ole Miss 182-197

Ranges are because of ties with other schools.

That particular ranking has UGA and other non-AAU schools ahead of Mizzou just FYI.

Yea
You’re either
elite (not many)
Great (not many)
Mediocre (many)
Bad (many)

ETA: but i will admit we have began to put a dent among business schools
We are actually sending kids to banks now!
Never did that when I was in school
