All we heard about before the playoffs was how dominant that Chase Young was. And if you watched the Ohio State/Clemson game you wondered if he was even playing in the game.

Chase Young is the perfect example of a so-called "dominant" player who play on teams who do not play anyone of note during the season and fail miserably against teams of much higher caliber.

Reminded me of Manti-Teo (minus the fake gf) of Notre Dame in 2012, Trevor Lawrence, Tramont Etienne and a lot of the Bama players this year. Against real competition like LSU and even Auburn 2019, they never made any kind of meaningful impact.

Having a shite schedule will wreck your team. I wonder if the Bama's, Ohio St's and Clemson's of the world are taking note about this now. It will be very hard to duplicate LSU's conquering of murderer's row in 2019 but maybe they'll step up one day.

I didn’t see Chase Young make any plays when I watched OSU. Seems like a lot of hype.

He was pretty consistently in the backfield

To be fair, Trevor Lawrence balled out against Bama and Notre Dame in 2018.

Just curious, who do you think was LSU's toughest opponent this year?

We said similar about Clowney and Garrett. Young is going to impact the league as they have, there is zero reason to downplay the abilities of our opponents. I will never get this particular thought process.

Started under guise of Ohio State post. Morphs into Bama post. Well done.

Chase young had 7 sacks in 2 games against PSU and Wisconsin as well, 2 team who played in big 6 bowls and have plenty of NFL OL on their teams now and in the recent past. But you obviously knew that because you're a so called CFFreak...

According to figures from Brian Mason, assistant director of athletic communications, 20 Wisconsin offensive lineman have been drafted since the year 2000, most for any college football program. In that same time frame, Alabama has produced 19 offensive line draft picks, and Ohio State, Miami and Notre Dame have all totaled 18.

Yes NFL teams love slow honkeys it seems.

Yea the problem certainly wasn't in the trenches in that game. OSU dominated the LOS on both sides of the ball. God that game was infuriating

Your argument is "they had offensive lineman drafted in the past so they must have good ones now"

Wisconsins and Penn States OLines werent that good this year, atleast not compared to most other years.

Ummm T Law had one bad game against LSU this year. Etienne showed he’s really fricking good, but he couldn’t do it all himself, and bama put up a frick ton of points with Smith and Harris having stellar games against LSU.

What the hell are you talking about with these guys?

So texas,Utah st.,Northwestern st. And Georgia Southern is murders row? The rest is conference that you have no say so in. Stfu with that bull crap. Texas was mediocre. The rest of non conference is not that great. You bump your chest like everyone should scheldule that and it should be praised. Lol how stupid can you be. Florida and Georgia were your two cross conference games witch helped your strength of schedule. But other than that everyone in the West has to play the same people.

Football is the only sport where a guy can have one bad 3 hour stretch and he's overrated garbage.

Please use your brain next time.

You can scene against a pass rusher where he won’t be effective.
