Yeah, Chad's record should only be considered in light of W/L. Bert's recruiting/program management had nothing to do with Chad's success, or lack thereof.

Chad wishes he could have had Bert's performance here and Bert took over after Smile and Motorcyclegate.
Chad's a special kind of suck. Enjoy.

Oh, I do.
This is what happens when a few powerful idiots get their way. Keep in mind that Gus was their first choice and they settled on Chad. I'm just happy they didn't get their first choice, because he played the idiots like a fiddle and stuck Auburn with overpaying.

Good thing he's our offensive coordinator and not our HC. He's had a decent amount of success there.

Arkansas knew that going in but got cold feet.
This is such a tired excuse on bashing Arkansas for firing him after 2 years. The man lost to Colorado State and San Jose State and got BLOWN OUT by Western Kentucky and North Texas. There’s not a coach in the world that would have survived that performance at any SEC school.

What a strong argument for Chad being unsuccessful as an OC.

Again, your opinion really isn't doing much for me. His HC track record is what it is but there is absolutely zero evidence to suggest he isn't a successful OC. Sorry.

Anyone trying to argue against firing Morris for his performance while at Arkansas is living in a fantasy land.

Again, he isn't our HC. I'm not concerned about what happened with him at Arkansas. Apples and oranges. I get why Arkansas fans hate him but Auburn fans are generally happy about the hire considering his relationship with Malzahn, recruiting ties in areas we need help in, and track record as OC.

Exactly. They knew what they were getting into changing from a team recruited for the pro set for decades to a spread offense... And gave him less than 2 years.

He rode Deshaun Watson to a career. It is what it is. Auburn is next to figure that out the hard way.

He'll be fired within 2 years.
