If anyone believes that then I have some ocean front property in Kansas I want to sell them.

There are a lot of “ifs” and assumptions in there.

Tua certainly has the potential to be that, but had some misfortunes (some brought on himself), so we don’t know.

I see him as a high-risk, high reward prospect. If he stays healthy, some team will reap a lot of return on investment for being willing to take the gamble.

What an idiot:
Manziel, Trubisky, RG3 and Jamies rank higher than Mahomes and Deshaun.
Great model.

Gee it's about time someone acknowledged that Tua played with superior talent alongside him, not just Burrow

Yeah, man, he's going to be the best left-handed quarterback since Matt Leinart or maybe even Tim Tebow. Or maybe a more apt comparison will be Kellen Moore since those other guys have Heismans to keep them warm at night.

Is it still the case that some wide receiver is the most recent left-hander to throw a touchdown pass in the NFL?

Tua was awesome every year until he played a team remotely on Bama’s level then fell apart.

Georgia 2018, Clemson 2018, LSU 2019. Really the only three teams with a chance of beating Bama that he played as a full time starter.

TUA against UGA- 10-25, 164 yards, 2 interceptions, 1 TD
TUA against Clemson - 22-34, 295 yards, 2 interceptions, 2 TD’s
Tua against LSU - 21-40, 418 yards, 4 td’s, two turnovers

Combined- 53% completion percentage, 7 touchdowns, 6 turnovers, 292 ypg (a lot in garbage time against LSU and Clemson), all losses

ETA: All losses while he was the starter.* Left UGA down 28-21 and Jalen Hurts led Bama to the win of course

Looks like Patrick Mahomes is going to be a failure.

A couple of other notables in their top 20 QB prospects since 2012:

8) Mitch Trubisky
12) Logan Woodside
15) Blake Bortles
16) Jake Fromm
18) Kooper Rush
20) Jake Luton

Yeah seems like a pretty solid metric, congrats Tua
