A&M may win out, but most likely will drop one. Remember, still playing a backup QB even if the OL and running game are rounding into shape

Backup QB that's playing less and less like a backup every week, and has two more weeks to prepare for our biggest remaining games.

Calzada now is playing better than King was before going down. I'm not even sure calling Calzada a backup is even true anymore.

Calzada has less atrocious throws every game, I’ll give him that.

The receivers/TEs don’t always help him out like that beautiful throw to Demas that was dropped against South Carolina but he misses those RBs out of the flat way too often and is good for at least one pick every game.

I think we could win out but all 3 of those games appear to me like toss ups so winning all 3 is statistically unlikely especially given 2 are on the road

My biggest problem with Calzada is that he still doesn't really read the field, and how you miss the RB in the flat so consistently is beyond words ...

With the oline and run game coming together, we don't need Calzada to be amazing. We just need him to hit enough good throws to keep the defense honest. Spiller, Achane, and the line can take care of the rest.

Establish the run, wear them out, connect on a few big passing plays when need be, and that'll be enough to win every game we have left.

OM and Auburn are good teams, but they aren't juggernauts. LSU is too disorganized at this point to be a real threat.

You have to admit that murderers row pic is hilarious. The “aggy roller coaster” one gets me even if it too close to home a few seasons.

Can’t take everything so seriously

ETA: even if Baylor, ISU, KU occasionally put together a good season it’s not like these schools strike fear into anyone even if there is a top 10 ranking next to them

I wish I could find the one that had all 10 Big 12 teams on it, it was pretty good stuff and I'm just giving fans a hard time about saying we're making everything about them when we're literally just responding to posts about our own team. Just banter is all

I learned long ago to take nothing too seriously on this site

That is smart. I always loved the Baylor gifs that @cupcup used to do on TexAgs. And I think Murderer's Row came from him as well

My least favorite thing right now is when the announcer goes

“Ohhh man calzadas gonna wish he had that one back X was WIDE open”

A&M is absolutely capable of beating OM and Aub the way we're playing now. And should beat LSU.

No you're not, and the sooner you come to accept that the easier the losses will be. Even LSU should fight you to the last possession since Coach O has beat you more often than not.

5-3 Arkansas (losses to AU, AL, OM)

Our best case scenario would be 5-3 if we win out, but with Bama still to come that isn't likely. You forgot our loss to Georgia in there. We had a pretty darn brutal stretch of games that finally let up with our "scrimmage" win over poor UAPB.

With a bye week to get healthy we should be in good shape to play State, LSU, and Missouri down the home stretch. If we win one of those we go bowling. Two puts us at 7-5.

If we got 7-5 with our schedule this year Pittman should get SEC Coach of the Year considering how horrible we were when he took over after the Chad Debacle.

Ole Miss has to win out to get a NY6, which is possible

Kentucky has an easier road to win out though

IF they both win out; Rebs will deserve the better bowl, and Lane Kiffen draws eyeballs (which may not be fair, but that will be part of the decision)

I am pulling for Kentucky to get a NY6 bid, so go Auburn this weekend!

That's funny. Texas won that game and then finished ahead of Jimbo's aggies. I guess you root for a team that's below mediocre?

You are such an idiot!!
Do you want to compare strength of schedule that year?

We played the two #1’s, #2, #3 and #8 ranked teams in the nation that year, you played nobody and you lost to TCU that had a losing record that year and also the mighty Iowa State lol, yet you finished with the same overall record as us! Get the frick out of here!

I think we were 25-2 over Baylor and had we ever lost to KU? I'm not sure running away is the right term.
