His statement was that prior to Saban, Bammers were stuck in the past just like they accuse LSU fans of being now.
Being "stuck in the past" and being stuck on one game/year are two different things to me. Just because someTHING happened in the past, doesn't make it ones entire past.
I was shown on tv once...but I don't consider myself a tv star!

PS- look at the last post you made before this one.

And you will be frozen in time there for many years to come. Meanwhile the rest of the world moved on, and Daddy Bama is once again your reigning NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

Much like corchcrisp can't tell the differences between RPO's and read option plays as well as the differences in college and pro RPO's.

Give up what?

It's a great year to remember, sorry it bothers you when LSU fans bring it up

Last year was the only time I ever remember aggy being competitive in the conference and it took a lot of luck to even get there, that team would be 8-4 normally

Won final 7 by double digits = lot of luck

Imagine bragging this much about the covid championship.

Congrats, Alabama, you beat a bunch of depleted teams and a team who only played 7 games.

Pardon me if I'm still happy with the only team from the SEC that's ever gone 15-0.

This is pretty funny coming from a fan base who couldn't have cared less than Alabama in 2019 was an extremely depleted team, and you still only managed to win by 5 points.

We lost multiple strings, not just players, but multiple strings at the ILB. We had Shane Lee starting, a true freshman who didn't even make the 2 deep on the 2020 team.

And you should know him very well considering LSU constantly abused him. That TD right before the half was 100% LSU knowing that Shane Lee could be abused. CEH had a field day.

False. Only 6 of the SECs 65 draft picks didn’t play Alabama because of Covid. 4 of those 6 were LSU opt-outs

LINK

In the 2020 Playoffs, Alabama faced 17 draft picks (over 1 draft)

In the 2019 Playoffs, LSU faced 21 draft picks (over 2 drafts)

I always find this false excuse by Bammers to be hilarious.

It's 100% true. Shane Lee was our starting ILB and he did not make the 2 deep last year. That right there tells you how depleted we were at the position.

On top of the injuries, we also had a head cases that didn't help either.

That combined with a QB who played like shite equaled out to a 5 point loss.

Two linebackers out has now made 2019 Alabama an "extremely depleted" team.

Revisionist history at its best

Lol wut? He was basically just as productive as Burrow in that game. He did have the pick but he also threw one more touchdown pass than Joe.

You don't seem to understand the position I'm talking about is like the QB of a Saban defense. They have to make all the calls on the field etc.

The original starter was Dylan Moses, his backup in that role was McMillion, who also tore an ACL.

Next guy up - Shane Lee. True Freshman who didn't make the 2 deep last year...because players came back from injury.

And I'm not dumping on Shane Lee, he did great considering the circumstances. He was asked to do way more than was really reasonable. Having to call the defense as a true freshman is crazy. Combine that with not having a few years to develop physically, and it's no surprise he struggled.
