The SEC has the better matchup, more intrigue and they’re sending in the B team.

The SEC had exactly 1 network partner before, and they will have 1 network partner going forward. Didn’t seem to hurt the SEC the past 30 years.

The Big Ten games are a snooze fest every weekend unless Michigan, Penn State, or Ohio State are playing each other. CBS college football won’t be the same without the SEC and they’ll realize that pretty soon with their drop in ratings.

There are a lot worse B team announcers out there than Tom McCarthy. He does NFL games every week for CBS, he's the Phillies play by play man during baseball season, and he was the #2 SEC on CBS guy last year.
