According to news reports Shaine Casas is transferring to Texas. TX A&M losing its star swimmer to Texas is quite shocking news. What’s going on?

The fans even try to copy UTa's false sense of superiority and they aren't even as good at that as Texas fans are. The athletics program is an absolute joke when it comes to the big 3 sports. They're solidly mediocre and have never been anything more than that. It took a covid year for them to have their first top 4 finish in a big 3 sport since Hitler was invading Poland. That's straight up pathetic but if you talked to an a&m fan and didn't know the truth you'd come away thinking they're Alabama. They're also weird as frick.

Serious answer. Texass has invested the time and money to have an elite swimming program. Nothing wrong with gravitating toward that.
Swimming is a non-contact sport and Texass accels at those.
