Any crime that results in a death is an automatic felony ….guess the favoritism runs right thru Athens .

Cops see their share of bad liars everyday and that cop knew damn well Carter was racing a woman before said woman tragically crashed and Jalen continued on.

Still, not nearly as disgusting as the shite that keeps repeating itself in Tuscaloosa.

Disagree, he didn't make the victim get in the car with the drunk driver. The victim chose that action for himself.

Everything about this sounds like they were racing.

Didn’t it come out that Carter had been pulled over before?

So they were racing, did he hit the other car and cause the accident? I,'m not sure on the details but unless he caused the accident then he should get any repercussions. No one forced the other driver to race it was done with the drivers own intent and it didn't end well

Racing in the first place caused the accident.

It’s how the law works in almost every state because they want to deter street racing.

It must suck to know that Oklahoma will never be as good as Georgia is now.

Well by that theory him being alive is a miracle.
I understand the cause of the accident was a race, but the crime he committed was traffic violation.

Jalen didn’t win anything. If - and its not for certain - he was racing he will have to live with his participation in this tragedy for the rest of his life. Not to mention probable lawsuits as the ambulance chasers are all over this thing. That’s a heavy burden for anyone to carry.

Bama football player bitch slaps a UT sorority girl. Saban says his fully padded and helmeted player who was surrounded by his 300lb buddies was “scared”. Those 90 lb UT sorority girls are tough!
Bama basketball player kills a young mother and another delivers the murder weapon, gets frisked at the BB game as a “joke” and gets off scot free. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time after all. What the hell is going on in Tuscaloosa?

Drunk driving involving a death and a single punch….not the best comparison

The suspended license stemmed from a speeding ticket in Lake County, Florida on July 23, 2022, court documents show. Along with paying a fine of $133.50 on Aug. 29, Carter elected to take part in traffic school -- typically recommended to defendants to avoid points being put on their driving record, an employee of the Lake County clerk's office said. He had until Oct. 28 to complete the course. Failure to do so resulted in the suspended license, which came into full effect on Nov. 28, the employee said.

Not quite like being and accessory to an actual MURDER on campus though, is it?
