Be glad he did what he did for you rebels. He is leaving the program in better shape than when he inherited it.

You had to know at his age and ambition he would jump ship for a bigger program to have a shot at a championship. Ole Miss is not that program

I’m going to laugh so hard when he stays. State fans will be in worse shape than Auburn fans

Kiffin can make Auburn his last big payday. Go for the gusto for a few years and then retire.

I don’t think he will last 3 months with those AU boosters. He’s not the type to take orders

Anyone who hires Kiffin deserves everything he brings to the table, which is usually an above average season or two, but mainly just drama.

Unfortunately for him, he ain't retiring. He has a very expensive ex-wife to pay for. If you've seen his divorce "agreement", you would understand if he ever did actually leave anywhere for real money.

Still yet though, I don't think he's leaving Ole Miss for Auburn. It is, at best, a lateral move. Auburn ain't no worse place than Ole Miss but it's not exactly a big upgrade either. He can do better.

We’ve been through this before. The rumor is a constant distraction. Good luck.

Auburn's ceiling is going undefeated.
Ole Miss's ceiling is 10-3.

Well he damn well better. No coach in Auburn history has ever moved on to a better job in football. It's where coaches go to die and that's a proven fact.

I told myself when we hired him that this is what would happen and we would be lucky if that were the case because it meant he got us into better shape, and I have to remind myself of that

Can’t even tell if this is a troll thread but it’s true nonetheless

You’ve seen Lane Kiffin’s divorce agreement?

First thing you will do is take a long nap.

This has to be exhausting.

The best trolls are when you can’t tell if it’s a troll

He's talked about it at some length. He pays a lot to the ex-missus.

So Auburn isn't a stepping stone job...

Cool!

He could wash out at Auburn after five years and 100 million.

Then come back do some television. Then come back and coach at Michigan or something for another 100 million

He'd be like Urban Meyer. But wealthier with no championships
