There’s little upside and the downside is immense. If I’m Bama I’d be hoping for a great bowl with OU or Oregon or whatever.

If yall lose the rematch then it’s truly the end of the Saban dynasty. If y’all win then it’s the end of the BS system that allowed y’all to win national championships despite not winning the conference, making those asterisks even bigger.

Personally I think Nick has at least one more natty in him before he retires but I’m sure he’d feel better about winning it outright rather than under a cloud.

If Ed Orgeron beats them twice in one season, Bama will be broken beyond repair.

Not sure is go that far but I’d go pretty close to it. There’ll be a huge effort to make this year the “Joe Burrow exception” year. But it would certainly be a gut punch that I wouldn’t risk, especially since their best case scenario is everyone knowing them being there is bullshite like always.

Bama doesn’t understand that they’re not that great, they’ve just been given a stacked deck year after year. There’s a lot of teams who’d have multiple Natty’s if they got the same mulligans and second chances that Bama has gotten since this new stupid system.

Bama getting to play 1/9/12 was the worst thing to happen to CFB and people are just now realizing it.

Bama does not want a rematch

You are correct.

It would be the final nail in the coffin.

All I got from your post is you're a scared shitless pussy.

Just because L1s8u folded for almost 10nyears after Bama beat that arse 21-0 on 1-9-12 doesn't mean Bama will fold.

That is the French heritage shining through like a white flag on a smokey battlefield.

Bama will beat that arse ina rematch with 100% Tua.

bama cannot beat LSU this year because of LSU's offense. Already one of the best in SEC history.
LSU scored 46 points in Tuscaloosa and was in the victory formation to end the game. If there was a rematch (which there won't be) LSU would score in the 50's and there is not a damn thing bama could do to stop it. Nothing.

Just not true. With 100% Healthy Tua it changes the whole dynamics of the game. BAMA would outscore Lsu. Heck Tua at 65% had 400 yds, 100% 600+yds and 60+pts.

You get No fumble, no int, Bama converts a lot more first downs, controls the clock more . Lsu got 17 points gifted that would not happen in a rematch. Bama wins the rematch and every analyst that has discussed game agrees that with Tua at 100% Bama wins vs Lsu.

Bama will crush your dreams again !

Before the game, Saban: “He’s at 100%”

Immediate after, Saban: “He was maybe 90%”

By Tuesday, Saban: “Tua was a warrior for us, but he was hurt”

By Thursday, spacewrangler, “Tua was 65%”

By the time the final playoff vote is cast, they’ll have the committee convinced that Tua was administered last rights during warmups, Matt Jones was injured in first half, and they nearly beat us with Slade Bolden playing the rest of the way. It was heroic.

Bama is the absolute kings of do-overs benefitted by revisionist history. It’s like they don’t believe video history exists to document their gradual shifting of position.
