He seems to be doing just fine where he is.....
except when LSU and Aubbie cuckolded him last year.

quote:He never kicks Perrilloux off the team so at last 1 in 2008 or 2009.
The question is how many does he win in years 2009-2010, and years 2012-2018?
2011 and 2012 would have been back to back and with Odell and Jarvis he may have had a 3 peat and won it in 2013
2016 he would have won it with that team

probably not many. Had he been LSU's coach in 2005 during Katrina and Rita it would have been a nightmare. LSU may have gone 4-7 or 6-5 and who knows what would happened after that. His demeanor and general just being a horse's behind would have destroyed that team.

He never would have lost. Natty every single year. We'd have like 80 nattys at this point.

He was quite a community leader in Tuscaloosa through the tornado in 2011. It didn’t have the same impact as the hurricanes of 2005 in Louisiana, but suggesting he would waffle to 4-7 seems ridiculous.

Saban has won five at Alabama. He’s lost two other national title games, one on the final play. He’s also lost in a semi-final. He’s a “kick six” away from another likely championship. Can’t do much better than that no matter where he is. Five titles and more near misses.

Big,big difference in April and August/Sept. You think he'd been Mr. Rogers in Tuscaloosa if that tornado had hit and done the same amount of damage around Labor Day? I don't think his "community" would have been too high or his priority list.

Saban is an average gameday coach. He is fantastic at bending recruiting rules to his advantage. LSU will never get the pass Bama does with the national media. Deal with it.
I mean LSU has won 2 more national titles without Saban. Think about years where Miles would lay a fat egg in games to derail a national title run. 2005 (UT), 2006 (Florida), 2011 (Alabama), 2012 (Alabama), 2015 (Alabama) notice a theme I don't think it's crazy to say Saban wouldn't have lost all those games, and Alabama likely would not have supplanted LSU as the "king" of the West. Imagine if Rich Rod had taken that job in 2007, and Saban came back to LSU is what I think the OP is hypothesizing.
And to say LSU wouldn't get the pass Alabama has, eh, maybe not get as much attention, but how can you say they wouldn't get a pass when they've been the only 2-loss national champion since the advent of the BCS? And they were a 1 loss champ in 2003 when Saban was there, another controversial season.

Haha, this guy's retarded.

He never even had back to back 10 win seasons at LSU and at Bama he has never had less than 10 after his first season. Nine 11 or more win seasons in a row.
