Last year I could name every SEC head coach except Billy Napier. This year I have to learn State’s coach. I may know about 50% of the OC/DC’s without googling.

I have zero expectations good or bad this season. After 13 or whatever straight bowls, who knows what’s gonna happen. Our coach died at the end of the season and we are just trying to piece everything together as it comes at us after doing a tremendous job duct-taping the recruiting class together with any good-will we could muster. It’s been rough, but we have done about as well as we could have given the circumstances.

I actually read up on the spring game to see what the new offense is like. By “read”, I saw a YouTube podcast. Said, Will Rogers was good but getting used to the new offense. Who’s going to be the go to WR?

it's not about just this season after you committed to the young inexperienced guy. That was a boneheaded mistake
Arnett should have been the interim for the bowl and then you should have done a much better search. If a young gunslinger didn't materialize, then I'm not joking in saying you should have offered David Cutcliff a two year deal. He would have loved it I'm guessing.
I think you all literally freaked out over the early signing period, thinking you had to have a warm body by that time.

There were games last year Mississippi State lost bc of WR play (drops). QB wasn’t the problem. But I can’t remember if their WRs had butter fingers last year or that was 2 years ago.
