Can LSU still back into the CFP?

I don't even want to think about a 58-0 defeat on top of the 29-0 loss. But, tonight if LSU comes in at #7 and ends up winning out with some upsets in front of LSU (2007 again), it could happen.
Promise you this, if the above does happen and we are matched up with Alabama as 1 & 4, I am going overseas where there is no game coverage as I don't want to see this beating

A 2 loss non-conference champion has absolute no hope at all.

I hope not. Bama too good this year.

That i why I would leave the country for a trip if we were matched up with them

It is possible for LSU to get back in.
Look at the current AP rankings. There are three pair of teams that are currently ranked ahead of LSU that will play resulting in three losses. That includes the SEC championship game. There is Michigan/OSU, West Virginia with TCU, OK state and Oklahoma, the Oklahoma with OK State and West Virginia. Norte Dame? Who knows?
With the losses that will occur in the above games, plus conference championships, if Bama only loses the SEC championship game, LSU is most likely is out.
What will be the fallout if a two loss team that did not win their conference makes it in the CFP.?

Won't happen unless you have multiple conference champions with 3 losses

We win the rematch easily. Bama scared!

LSU would need multiple power 5 conferences to produce a championship game with two multiple loss teams to have a chance. Not to mention Notre Dame losing a couple of games at least. So yea, good luck.

Doesn't matter. The AP is irrelevant. It's the CFP and LSU, unlike the polls, LSU won't automatically move up just because of what happens to teams ahead of them.

O has already said you don't have the players to stay on the field with the Tide.
So there is that...
So there is that...

Would be absolute bullshite if LSU made it to the playoffs without even winning their division.

Just...no. Sorry but they are not taking a 2 loss team that was shut out at home under any circumstances. Especially as the luster fades on some of the marquee wins LSU was hanging their hats on, aside from the UGA win. I like LSU from all the cool folks on here overall so that isn't why I say this, but that just isn't happening.

Really, LSU lost to Florida!!!

Why would LSU fans want to see LSU embarrassed by Alabama on the National Stage again?

Please, please stop. Honestly, it doesn't matter who is 2-4. #1 simply isn't losing this year. And with our shite offense, we aren't beating Clemson, and we probably aren't beating ND or UM anyway.
