With all the craziness going on in the big 10 with Ohio State and Penn State, I would say yes.

Absolutely. If they lose to Florida, it will be a fluke. They would still be the best team in football.

According to todays rules

I would say yes. Although, they would drop a spot or 2.

Would Ohio State then possibly be the #1 seed?

Unless we get beat by 14+, there is no chance we are left out. The problem is that Florida will not be able to score 14 period. So, yeah, we in.

With no other undefeated Power 5 teams and one of the one-loss teams staying home next week, barring something truly epic, like a complete blowout loss, Alabama is pretty much a CFP lock now.

I would think so, assuming it isn't an embarrassing loss in terms of the margin (within 17 points). Alabama's resume at this point on the season and as a program is beyond reproach. To deny them the benefit of the doubt would be foolish. Also, this isn't a situation where you could argue that the victor in the championship game has an equal claim to being in the playoff (think 08 or 09). It would be Alabama or no one from the SEC. I think they are in.

Lets hope so.

In trailer parks across Bammerland there will be some sisters and mommas gettin' their asses whipped in domestic violence incidents if Bammer loses.

Bama could lose and still be the #1 seed because neither them or OSU would be conference champs.

Book your tickets for the playoffs.

Assuming Alabama lost and tOSU got in the playoff, this would be the first time nonconference champs got in the playoff and there would be two of them. That would be quite interesting. I think it happens with at least one team this year (tOSU), but I don't think Bama will lose.

Yes, Bama is in. The only way they wouldn't have gotten was to go 0-2 in their final two.

The only way it might be close is if florida won by 5 tds and even then it would be highly unlikely they wouldn't make it.

We are trying to figure out this morning where we need to make reservations for.
