Most computer models have Auburn as a very slight favorite, hence the small spread in Vegas.
I imagine Alabama will be something like -13.

Can they? Of course. Probably a better chance at UGA since the two teams have the same strengths and weaknesses.
As good as their defense is, don't know if they can score enough to stay with Bama.
They needed goal line stands to keep LSU from beating them by a couple of scores. You can't count on that every game.

Yes they can. It all depends if their offense is coherent. If they can move the ball and score, they’ll be fine.

No, their qb is terrible. There max points would be 28 vs Bama and about 23 vs UGA. Both those teams will outscore them.

Yes. I think they beat UGA. I think they could beat Bama, but they would have to have their best day offensively.

The only time Gus has beat either team is when his team is a top 3 or national title contending team. Do either of those descriptions sound like AU this year? No? Then no they will beat neither.

I didn't think they could in 2013 and by 2 miracles they did. But, they were more competitive then. You have to be in a close game to have a miracle play make the difference but I don't see that happening this year.

16- lost to ole miss, both teams were crappy teams, although at the time ole miss was really good before their season went off the rails and they became crappy
17- lost to an AU team that would also knock off #1 bama and reach as high as #2
18- lost to an LSU that reached as high as #3 in the rankings
So there you have it. We've only lost when 1)we suck, or 2)the other team is top 3 worthy
Do we suck this year? I don't think so. Is AU a top 3 team this year? Also don't think so.
