I hate bye weeks, especially when you just got your arse kicked and will most likely again coming off the bye.

It's ok though. Being an MU fan I'm certainly used to it. I think the team has some real positives going forward so I'm optimistic for the future!

Anyway, having to suffer the slings and arrows from other school's fans for getting our asses kicked, I got to thinking "how many times have we enjoyed the role of 'kicker'"

I was surprised to learn that in the 8 years of being in the SEC there are only 4 teams who we haven't beaten by AT LEAST two touchdowns ( all in the West of course and three of those teams we've never beaten since before 2012 - one may surprise you).

Now I realize that 14 points does not necessarily constitute an arse kicking but many of those spreads were substantially more than that and I had to make the cut somewhere.

Small accomplishment by the measure of many programs in the last 8 years, but file this under things Mizzou fans do to lick their wounds and pass the time in a bye week.

Didn't Missouri break a 5 year losing streak to UK and Missouri had a bye week before the game? It is good to have another one to heal up and try play the best game against Georgia and be glad to have that off week now to fixed any issues before the Georgia game. Even if losing to Georgia but not get blown out would be nice. Hope for a great game next week.

It’s a perfect bye week for me. Slopes open this weekend, and I get all Saturday to ride.
