This has a feel of aTm crowing about a cheerleading competition championship.

Congrats to Buzz.

So they were picked 12th, got the 7th seed in the SECT and that wins COTY?

Good Lord, were the pickings that slim?

Would have been unanimous by all media if they didn't struggle so much in OOC play. Most improvement for sure from the end of OOC play until now though.

Since when do they give out coach of the year awards for going barely over .500?

Deserved

Honestly not discrediting cal or pearl but that was by far the most impressive coaching job

To do that with this team means you did a hell of a job.

If we hadn't had the terrible start, we'd be a bubble team for the Tournament. Oh well, let's see how the SEC Tournament goes

Can't give Coach of the Year to somebody who's defensive philosophy centers around flopping for charges.

We were the worst power five team and I'm not sure it was close.

We improved and won a couple of games in Jan.

Then midway in Feb we started to look like a real team. Finished 5-2 with wins over @Auburn(27), Arkansas(47), Miss St(50), @Alabama(54), & Georgia(95).

He’s a good coach and deserves it. Money better spent than Jimbo. ROI could be greater

SEC Basketball is more on par with the current state ACC Football.

Jimbo plays in the SEC where it would be like if the ACC, Big 12, & Big Ten all took their best teams to form a super conference.

Not exactly an apples to apples comparison.
