As much as us Vols shite on Botch, we were the closest to being "back" under him in 2015-16.

JMO but Butch signed way too many marginal character guys that were ranked high. If you have to kiss their azz to sign them then expect to kiss their azz to keep them.
Ray Perkins was 8-4 in year one then 5-6 in year two. The next two years were 9-2-1 and 10-3 so maybe JP can get it going in the last half of this year (still have a losing season) and then make a strong showing in 2020.
