Shoot themselves in the foot? What type of mistakes were they making on offense to prevent themselves from scoring more points? I thought their playcalling was overly conservative in the third quarter but I don’t think they were ever shooting themselves in the foot.

I'll give Burrow credit for being more mobile than I thought. Bama's linebacker play might have been lacking but the pass rush was not.

5 sacks and a forced fumble, that very easily could have been 7 or 8 sacks had Joe not gotten himself out of some jams back there. He was pressured don't kid yourself.

One of the bigger plays in the game was where he dumped it off while getting hit and your RB made a shoestring grab and a nice run after, no LB in sight as usual.

And still allowed 46 points

You had most of it by halftime. The plays that hurt Bama most(LB play) were QB draws and boots and the dumpoff to the RB that kept drives alive.

The front didn't play that badly. They got pressure and were strong several times on short yardage runs.

Cocky little douchebag ... he should just shut up and win gracefully. But this is my problem with Orgeron. I'm sure he encourages this kind of crap

LSU needs to settle down, and realize that they have won nothing yet

If you’d bothered to watch the video, you’d have seen he said exactly that.

I did watch it. He is just a kid, but shows more maturity than his coach. Have to give him that

There's a lot of adjectives* to accurately describe Jeaux Burreaux.

These two are not among them.

*Technically these are descriptive nouns, but you get the idea.

Oh Really?

5 dropped passes
2 unforced and idiotic fumbles
1 really poor pass before half ended giving LSU excellent field position deep in our territory.
Horrible judgement calls especially on 4th and 1.

But, I digress, that's football.
Joe Burrow needs to learn a little humility.
So too, does O.

I understand venting 8+ yrs of frustration including losing the NC game.

LSU has everything ahead of them, it would be best to start looking at what obstacles lie in their path and not the hurdles already behind them.

P.S. I hate excuses, but if that's Burro's mantra then two can play that game all day long.

They will, whether we get to deliver it or not. Their team will not win the title, book it.

I’ll give props to Alabama for their play in the 3rd quarter. That quarter, BAMA dominated.

The 4th quarter was a different story. LSU could have scored how and when they wanted. Just like the first half.

Remember, Alabama took ZERO snaps in this game where they either had the lead or threatening to take the lead.

He did miss on some wide open receivers in the Red Zone.

For sure could have put up more.

I think you missed his point. He was saying that they can’t get where they want to go by playing like they did against Alabama.

I refuse to believe that the 2019 LSU Football team is the cockiest team you have ever seen in your lifetime.

Is that not part of the game?

I can make excuses for LSU instead of giving Alabama props for what they did in the 3rd quarter too.

3 fluke touchdowns
A delay of game on a fourth and short where they completed the slant for the first but the whistle already blew. That drive, Alabama wasn’t stopping them.

Came out flat in the 3rd quarter. Let’s Alabama back into it.

LSU was more than halfway to 60 at halftime on this defense.

Y’all still scored a TD on that drive.... Najee caught a back shoulder pass for a TD several plays later. Not sure why people keep bring this drop by Jeudy up as it didn't end the drive or prevent Alabama from scoring.
