Congratulations Clay Travis and the rest of the trash fans that revolted. You really fricked things up.

Joe Burrow doesn't do Joe Burrow things with that roster, but he certainly would have made them a damn sight better than they were in 18/19.

I think the bigger story is what LSU would have been without Burrow. Even with Brady on the staff, there’s no way we come close to what we achieved if Burrow wasn’t the QB.

I said it once I will say it again. If Joe Burrow had come to UT he’d be working at an autozone right now.

If schiano is such a catch then why isn’t LSU going after him? Why didn’t auburn last year?

Rutgers looking really good this year…wait

I so hope that's true. Anything bad for UT football is good for America.

They've beaten three teams they should've beaten and lost to four they should lose to. Three of their four losses are to teams currently ranked in the top ten (in consecutive weeks). They play in a division with #9 Michigan State, #6 Michigan, #5 Ohio State, and #7 Penn State.

I'm not sure what you expect from Rutgers football. Despite being one of the two oldest college football programs, they have an overall losing record. They've finished the season ranked three times in their entire history and have only made 10 bowl games.

All because of overreaction, something we see out of them time and time again, the Vol Nation fricked up an opportunity to hire the best program builder since Bill Snyder, which is what their shitty program desperately needs right now.

I say all this having gained a lot of respect for the Tennessee program over the weekend. There is no doubt the Vols are an integral part of the SEC. After all, the conference was founded in Knoxville. But I truly despise the hypersensitive, overreactive social medial society we live in and people who cave to it.

That means don't throw stuff on the field and interrupt play when things don't go your way. shite, despite all the nonsense, y'all still had the ball with a chance to win, but Mixon airmailed an open receiver in the endzone!

I'm always fascinated by twists of fate where small, seemingly unrelated happenings have long-reaching affects.

Joe Burrow does not have a Heisman. Is probably selling insurance or working his way up at IBM. Best case he's holding a clipboard for an NFL team.

No one's heard of Joe Brady. He's likely still at LSU, not yet a rising star.

With Brady still at LSU- he likely adds enough to meander through a few 9-3/ 8-4 seasons, keeping Yaw Yaw employed.

And the 2019 magic carpet ride LSU fans enjoyed doesn't exist.

And all because Schiano may have seen something 25 years prior.

Good programs can catch lightening in a bottle.

Mediocre programs can’t.

Yalls big argument for why he was so good was because he took rutgers to a bowl game. Now they suck again, but its not his fault. He's such a great program builder that in his 12th year at the program he is working on a last place finish in his division. Never gets brought up when any coaching vacancies open up.

Do you understand Rutgers is in the hardest division in college football?

The Tennessee/Schiano thing happened months before Burrow decided to transfer.

Burrow said himself it was between Cincy and LSU.

This is Germans. I posted a now-anchored thread on this five days ago. Keep up with the news cycle.

After 12 years at rutgers, Schiano's record (51% losing) is worse than the overall Rutgers record (49% losing). Hell of a "program builder"

We've covered this before, but Burrow didn't enter the portal until the next summer, and even if he had and was going to Tennessee, who was Schiano's Joe Brady? Does anyone even know what kind of staff he'd have brought to Tennessee?

He was a failure as an NFL HC(excusable), he was then a failure as tOSUs DC. He would have been a disaster here as well. The guy did coaching on baby mode his first time at Rutgers, in a sea of coaches who would turn out to be failures once they made the jump to the next level. It was a terrible hire.

He is in year two of his second stint at Rutgers. Give him some time to get it going again. I assure you he will.

Did you known Greg Schiano took Rutgers to five consecutive bowl games from 2005 - 2009? Tennessee hasn't done that since 2000 - 2004.

With all that said, y'all have some talent on the roster and in the state and seem to be high on Heuphel. Give him some time to turn it around.

Northwestern went 3-9 in 2019. They're 3-3 right now with three winnable games left on their schedule. FOH with that shite.
