Would you take the cash out now?

Cash on hand you already got a winning ticket

If Hurts stays up there he is going to get a lot of I like his story votes

But Auburn and Alabama coming up. They have defenses that might slow him down a little. I think this is the peak of a cash out offer.
Full disclosure: Not my ticket, but this is an interesting midweek topic.

Florida has a better defense than both

I threw a bet on him at +2000 but unfortunately it was only a few dollars

At this point it's really more like a $3865 bet though. That's the cash in hand you are "letting ride" now.

I don't bet, but I would go at least 2 more weeks. Even if he were to have a mediocre game against Auburn, Tua is out, and Hurts could have a bad game too. I think the chances are good that he'll still lead in the Heisman odds going into Bama even if he has a down game against Auburn.

Hurts won’t have a bad game.
That said, having watched both of them in person, IMO Burrow is better. He throws dimes.
The strategy for the OP’s bet should be to let him play out a few more games. If possible, hedge against Burrow’s upcoming performances (take unders on TDs, yards, etc.) for insurance against chance of backsliding/ injury.

A lot of places will do that on future bets if something major has changed. Like a 200/1 favorite becoming the favorite mid-season.
Ive never seen it on anything but futures.

Solid bet! I would absolutely cash out now because I like sure money. Good luck either way.

cash out now and parlay the moneyline on the state game, state covering the spread and arkansas not covering.
i'm kidding don't take betting advice from me, i would probably let it ride

Agree. Ask yourself if you'd put $4000 on a 5-2 bet on Burrow today and you'll find your answer.
