I thought this was common knowledge? Any one that follows SEC hoops knows Bud Walton is the loudest arena.

Took one of my friends two seasons ago to his first Razorback game against Kentucky in Bud Walton. His eyes got real big at one point it was so loud. When Arkansas is good, Bud Walton is primo

In terms of how tough it is to play for opposing teams, nothing wrong with what he said. The older people sit in the lower level and don’t get loud or stand very much. I’ve heard countless stories of people getting on their feet to get loud only to have someone behind them ask them to sit down.
In terms of actual venue I’ll go with Rupp but again nothing wrong with what Thompson stated.

Bud Walton was louder in December of 2017 for a game against a #24 Tennessee team that hadn’t emerged nationally yet than Rupp was in February for a #1 Tennessee team on a 19 game winning streak with College Gameday in town. I was at both games.
I have been to every SEC arena except The Hump and BWA is clearly #1 from an environment POV imo.
Rupp, TBA and the O Dome when it’s rocking would be in the next tier.

Uh yeah as someone who's been to both. I don't think that's a question.
But then again a lot of SEC Arenas are better than Rupp and a lot of fanbases get into their basketball games better than their fans do

Rupp is shite from an atmosphere perspective and UK is the most overrated athletics program in the history of college athletics.
