You made about burrow when you said Tua was better then Burreaux in 2019, Burreaux won everything so your point is dismissed

Trask had less talent than Jones too.

Sure, but Bama has more NFL talent at OL (Leatherwood and Dickerson, notably) and Harris is far superior to anything at RB for UF. That said...I agree that the WR positions for both were top notch.

Oh, so now you discredit RB and OL? And play-calling?

I don't know but LSU feels pretty good about QB Max (Big Dick) Johnson.

Bryce doesn't spin it like Tua, but no one does. It's too early to say what he does better than Mac but it's coming.

Coach Saban is a genius with his ability to prepare players in his system. New OCs come in and it's still the same old terminology, plays, and formations. No new OC or player is reinventing the offensive wheel.

The more things change, the more they stay the same in Alabama.

Wow... hard to argue with someone wearing gump glasses that Tua was the best SEC QB in 2019. Now that's a gump fan for sure!!!

before Tua's injury vs UT, which caused him to miss the next game and impacted the rest of the season, he led the SEC in most statistics and was the odds on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy so it's a valid argument

This isn't even true.

I just looked up some game previews of the 2019 LSU-Bama game and nearly every one mentions Burrow as the Heisman frontrunner.

you do realize, of course, that the UT game in which he was injured was 2 games prior to LSU. Yes, no, maybe? He missed the game before LSU entirely and shouldn't have played vs LSU imo.

Various articles after the Florida and Texas games that LSU played also list Burrow as either having the same odds as Tua or passing him.

I don't know about various articles, but according to Vegas odds Tagovailoa was the favorite up to and including the UT game and that's a fact.

Didn't know being the best was based on 'what if' but I'll say that truthfully, Tua is damn good.

Tua and Joe Burrow play in the NFL now. Personally I am going to enjoy watching Alabama beat the hell out of the Fighting Bengal Roachsprays once again.

Roll Tide What? Eff Who? LSU!
