Why so? Is the scholarship to practice or is the scholarship to play? I think Harsin is an idiot, but at any other school of the coach says you’re good enough to play and. Player says “nah. Don’t want to” wouldn’t we expect that coach to suggest transferring then?

Good for him. Hold their feet to the fire. No doubt he's gonna get run out of town, but faking injuries sucks both on and off the field.

If coaches could be fired with cause every time a player basically quits mid season to preserve eligibility for the transfer portal, every coach would be canned.
