I can't tell if we are better or Bama is worse. Also the environment helped Florida out as well. Standing on the East sidelines the whole 2nd half with the sun beating down on you is hell while Florida is in the shade. I could tell Saban was worn out from the heat and humidity in his press conference.

Also I think Jones is a pretty good weapon, but just not a real accurate passer, and needs a lot of work reading defenses. But it is his 3rd start, so I'll be patient.

shite OL. shite QB situation, though thank God the Zeb experiment is over. But knowing our luck Doty gets hurt again and we have to play him again. What I thought we were. 4 win team tops: still saying Troy and Vandy are wins and that's it. No different than the preseason expectation from my point of view.

Corral is the favorite to win the Heisman and will have his prime time game in a couple of weeks.

Defense is average at this point that may be enough.

We are as good as we have been in a long time.

We finally showed some effort and intensity. LSU could actually be a decent football team if they show that fight throughout the season.

We have a top 3 D in the conference but our OL is very young and it shows

We looked marginally better in the first half against an outmatched team.

Any SEC team with a decent passing game and any SEC team with a decent D line will give us fits.

Best case scenario is we manage to eek out 3 conference wins, State, Kentucky and an upset of one of AU, Ark or aTm….

And I know State and Kentucky are going to be dogfights we could still manage to lose.

Offense is pretty good, step back from last year, but that was basically impossible to replicate.

Defense is bottom half of SEC at best. Got gashed by a one dimensional team, and it was not pretty. Didn't even force a single punt. Unless substantial improvement occurs going to cost us a few games.

For Bama, mistakes are killer.

Bama was on the verge of blowing out Florida up 21-3 with the ball. Dropped passes killed Bama. Think they had 10 or 11 drops. Make half those catches and Bama is up 35-3 at the half.

LSU still sucks.

They're going to get prison raped in SEC play.

Alabama's defense is once again directionless.
They obviously have the talent, but lack knowledge of the game.
Alabama's OL is not up to its normal high standards. Not bad, just not great.

Just for accuracy Florida punted twice and went for it on 4th down 3 times making it twice, and Bama punted 4 times and went 1/1 on 4th down conversions.

Bama is never going to have a good defense under Pete Golding. This is year 3 and his defense is still clown shoes. If he can't do anything with this squad, he ain't going to do shite. That's just a fact. Alabama gonna have to outscore most teams with a pulse, which they're still pretty good at. But the receivers this year need to learn how to catch.

Yeah you notice that pattern. Bama was beating the brakes off of Florida in the first half of last years game as well only to find itself in a dog fight. Pete’s a terrible DC. I thought he had turned the corner last year after watching the defense progressively get better game after game. They’ve regressed again. It’s not talent so it has to be coaching.
