They played good ball and he seemed to really find the sweet spot of targeting 1-2 SEC caliber players that Alabama or Auburn wanted and getting them to UAB and filling out the rest of his class with guys that fit what he wanted to do.

as for Pearl/Collins - you blind Auburn hoops zealots didn't even bother to notice I used the name Marcus Liberty to see if y'all were even paying attention. (UK fans -actual hoops fans- would have called that out within a minute of reading it)
it was Deon Thomas that Pearl wire-tapped to try and set up Collins to turn in to the NCAA. Pearl could murder someone a midcourt of your new arena and a significant faction of Auburn fans would find a way to gloss over it.

I understand there are a lot of dense Bama fans posting today.. but some AU fans just hate Bama. And as far as support goes, we just played UAB at home in Birmingham. The only lone time Bama would even play UAB in basketball was an NIT game in 1993 in Tuscaloosa.
