Based on the posts of the AU folks over the last few weeks, it’s obvious that that they’ve given up on football. And it’s no coincidence that the advent of Bruce-mania has been the impetus for the demise of the money sport. This has been true everywhere Bruce goes.

Hired at Tennessee in 2005, the acceleration of UT football into irrelevancy picked up speed.

Hired at UW-Milwaukee in 2001...the Panthers disbanded their football program in 1974, no doubt in anticipation that Bruce would be the basketball coach there some day.

Hired at the University of Southern Indiana in 1992, a school which has never had a football team. And Bruce made damn sure that they never would.

Condolences, Aubs.

Solid effort.

Put timelines together well.

Just not enough tin foil or humor to get me interested.

Downvote.

The concept of being good in both Football and Basketball is lost on Bama Fans.

Actually we're just planning on being really good at both sports. Sorry to disappoint you.

Auburn football has always been somewhat a shite storm. If they can’t rehabilitate a JUCO QB, they’re historically irrelevant. Bruce is just helping them limp through yet another depressing off season.

And we still won the 'ship. Even in a down year for Bama.

Not sure what else we can do.

I like the hook.

Great job! I’d give it an A- only due to a few points being taken off for failing to mention Cam’s father.

3rd best team in the state. Lost to Auburn and lost to a team who lost to a team who lost to Troy.

Edit: actually, 4th. Troy lost to South Alabama.
