Some of this is trolls some is serious. Mike can go into the stadium a few times a year. A lot of the other stuff I said was just me trolling.

It is the LSU Vet School and Mike's caretakers who recommended Mike not leave his cage for any reason save a trip to the Vet. PETA had zero to do with that.
I have been attending LSU games since I was a kid at age 9 in 1960. Bringing Mike inside TS was always a dumarse idea. Just my opinion.

I may be old and decrepit, and actually I remember being a student in the late 60s when MIKE would not only go into the stadium which would be paraded down victory hill. Now that I am older and perhaps more enlightened I believe that he should just stay in his habitat

I'm glad it's the LSU fans that are giving you the most shite.
Dr. Baker is a fantastic Vet. If he doesn't think Mike should be in the stadium then he never will be. Besides, Mike doesn't want to get paraded around in that little cage. And I promise you nobody wants to try and force all 500+ pounds of Mike into said cage.
