Bring Mike back into Death Valley

I know all y'all baws aren't LSU fans, but can y'all agree that LSU needs to bring back the tradition of bringing Mike the tiger in the stadium for at least pregame. Woodward needs to say screw PETA and bring Mike back into the stadium. It stopped a few years ago because of Alleva. I just think it's cool to have a live tiger next to the visiting team as they run out. Mike can handle the stress too it's only a few days a year.

Never gonna happen again. May as well give this pipe dream up.

Oh, just shut the frick up already.
It has nothing to do with PETA.

Well Woodward actually has a spine, so I figured he might actually stand up against PETA.

Wow. Thanks for letting us know upfront that you are a shitty person.

Congratulations on being too lazy or too stupid to Google this and find out why Mike the Tiger will never be brought into Tiger Stadium again.
ETA: Too stupid it is.

Well I doubt anyone is concerned about him dying .
Common sense tells me that a real tiger may indeed become a tad stressed if surrounded by tens of thousands of excited, screaming people.
But that’s speculation on my part.
LSU fans adore their mascot.
Therefore it wouldn’t surprise me at all if—put to a vote—most Tiger students/grads would be fine with keeping the current arrangement.

Be cool if they let him loose on the field, maybe chase some balls, what could go wrong

You're cool stressing an animal out just because you think it looks cool?

Tigers are reclusive animals that do not travel in packs. There's no reason to bring them into a stadium with 100K people just for your viewing pleasure.

Folks have already taken their turn kicking you in the balls so I will refrain from doing so.
Yes, Mike is used to people. He probably sees thousands of folks every day walking by his enclosure.
They aren't all there at the same time and screaming at the top of their lungs. That is way too stressful for a reclusive animal like a tiger. This may come as a shock to some folks but cats of any species really do react at all well to loud noises.
You can train a dog to be OK with it. Hogs like Tusk (particularly like ours, who are so laid back they are practically comatose) are pack animals and loud noises don't bother them, hell a grown hog makes as much noise as a jackhammer when it wants too.
It would be cruel to do it to Mike. He's fine where he is and he's a wonderful mascot doing what he does.

Not going to happen tomorrow, 5 years from now, 10 years from now, etc, etc, etc.

I hate Peta, but if tigers genuinely don't like being around that many people, then they shouldn't be forced to
