2nd to Lane he has been the best Bama OC under Saban. He’s not getting another shot at a major program and he can make more as OC at Bama than HC at a small program..

Bring back the shark fricker!

Are you dumb bro? His offenses were horrible. Defense won those games.

His game plan against LSU in BCS title game was genius. He ran a very balanced attack and got the TE involved more than anyone we have had since then. The one area of concern was Bama often moved the ball well between the 20’s but settled for too many FGs once they were in the red zone.

I have a feeling you would have very different sentiments about McElwain if Oklahoma State hadn't missed that FG against Iowa State and Tennessee's kicker didn't have that meltdown in the famous Terrence Cody game.

Now now... we all know that Art Briles needs rehabilitation too.

It's honestly hard to judge McElwain's playcalling abilities based on his Florida tenure cause the motherfricker refused to call his own plays and refused to take over when Nussmeier was sinking the offense to new low depths.
