Brian Kelly: 166-62 (.728)
2 time AP Coach of the Year

Kirby Smart: 66-15 (.815)
1 Natty

LSU has more recent success (NC wise) with a title under its last 3 head coaches.

Brian Kelly is the best coach they’ve had since Saban.

If Kelly is able to take Bama out, will they be able to take down UGA too?

Honestly, Kelly is waaay more accomplished than Saban was before he got here. Just something to chew on

Apparently no one can win as many different NCs with different coaches like LSU does... in my lifetime, anyway. He made Notre Dame better than they probably should be in the 21st century, now he goes to a place that nearly monopolizes its home state's recruits. I like his chances.

Ideally we get ourselves back in the mix we’re we are competing with them both consistently.

While Smart and Saban are there I doubt anyone is beat them all the time.

I disagree.

Saban came from Michigan St, a team that was being hit with sanctions and didn't win very much. He took that team and started beating the top teams in the Big10.

Kelly on the other hand took over a blueblood and has proceeded to lose to the top teams he plays. And he's been doing it playing a rather easy ACC schedule lately.

I think Kelly was a good hire for LSU considering the circumstances, better than I thought LSU would do. But if you think his accomplishments are better than Saban's at that point, I just have to completely disagree.

Kirby has a winning record vs final ranked teams.
BK at ND went 15-29.

Alabama > Georgia. So, yes, but it's ridiculous to think about. Alabama and Georgia aren't going anywhere anytime soon. LSU may throw their hat in the ring, but they aren't "taking down" Alabama or Georgia. Georgia is also helped out tremendously for playing in the shitty East. If Georgia doesn't make the SECCG every year for the foreseeable future then Kirby had a major let down.

And that Kelly went 4-8 with a top 10 roster.
He's #2 behind Saban according to LSU fans though.

What Drinkwitz beating LSU? That is like saying BK will automatically win a championship no matter what. Ole Miss, MSU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Georgia and some others have been much better since Orgeron won the championship. Coaches changed and recruiting classes have been much better for those same school. LSU isn't going to continue to win against those with ease.

First, if he takes Bama out, then of course he could take down UGA as well.

He almost beat us (twice) at ND, so that is another reason I say yes, it is very possible.

What did that have to do with UGA’s defense giving up 275 yards rushing while their offense only rushed for 113?

UGA fans talked sooo much shite before that game too

I don't know if you know this but the only team that can truly beat bama is their own injured reserve roster. Or so I've been told.

0-4 in playoff and championship games.

Congrats on finding the one coach worse at big games than Lincoln Riley.
